Returns

We want you to love what you've chosen. If something's not right, you have 30 days from delivery to request a return.

To qualify, your item needs to be unworn or unused, in its original packaging, with tags still on — plus proof of purchase.

To start a return, email us at info@layr.nz and we'll send you the return address along with a shipping label and instructions on where to send it.

Please don't send anything back before requesting a return first — we won't be able to accept it.

Damages and issues

Check your order as soon as it arrives. If something's damaged, faulty, or not what you ordered, let us know straight away so we can make it right.

Every piece is made slowly, by hand, one layer at a time — small variations in texture or finish are part of that process, not a fault. If you're ever unsure whether something's a flaw or just character, send us a photo. We'll always tell you straight.

Exceptions

A few things we can't take back: made-to-order pieces built specifically to your custom request (bespoke sizing, colours, or engraving), sale items, and gift cards.

Standard pieces from our current range are returnable under the policy above, even though each one is made to order for you — that's simply how we work.

Exchanges

Fastest way to get what you actually want: return your item, and once it's accepted, place a new order for the one you'd like instead.

EU 14-day cooling-off period

If your order is shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return it within 14 days, no reason needed. Same conditions apply — unworn, unused, tags on, original packaging, with proof of purchase.

Refunds

Once we've received and inspected your return, we'll let you know if it's approved. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days — your bank may take a little longer to post it on their end.
